  2. I installed iatkos ml2 on my lenovo yesterday, it's been tested 2 times, before the making of this guide. Let's take a look, how it works Intel? Core i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz - For this, you should read this topic for the better performance - SpeedStep and Turbo Boost as The Turn-On of Hackintosh Mountain Lion GeForce GT 630M - X (this is piece of s**t, trust me) Intel? HD Graphics 4000 - ? Conexant SmartAudio - ? Atheros AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter - ? All of USB ports are working - ? Before the installation, you must have something that is necessary *Same hardware specifications *iATKOS ML2 DVD (md5 verified ?), burned with Transmac (Firstly, you should extract your .dmg image and then burn it with slow speed) *USB Flash disk (for keeping kexts) *A clean sheet to take notes before the installation or Smartphone to capture this screen *Plenty of time and patience *Have some coffee, take a deep breath 1. You must follow the instructions that i gave, first. here it is : [Guide] ML Install Guide for Lenovo G580 2. Every hardware kexts that you need is in this .zip file Lenovo G580 Files.zip 4. What about hardware specifications? All of them works quietly; but nvidia gt630m doesnt work. don't worry about this, because your Intel HD 4000 graphics card's memory is 384 MB. I think, it's enough for each PC. 5. Firstly, you must change the graphic mode on your BIOS to "UMA". 6. And then, insert your iATKOS ML2 DVD (which is burned with double layer DVD, if you haven't, go to the nearest store and buy this one. USB installation disk never works, pleast don't try it. there are zillions of advices that you shouldn't use.) and use UseKernelCache=No boot flag. 7. In the setup options choose Graphics Mode / best screen resolution that you want, (ex. 1366x768),UseKernelCache=No, FAKESMC, Macbook Pro 9.1 and PS2 Controller. 8. After the installation, a) you should edit org.chameleon.Boot.plist that in your Extra folder. here is my configuration, it works clearly: To install USB kext, you should place USB kext files on your desktop, then open KB{censored}. c) and (Delete AppleHDA.kext and AppleACPIPlatform.kext from System/Library/Extension folder) d) The Audio kext must be installed using MB{censored}-5.2.1 by choosing VoodooHDA 0.2.72. PS: if you are stuck in kernel panic screen, restart your PC and try with -v -x -f boot flags. You can open your mac os on Safe Mode and change org.chameleon.Boot.plist with the correct keys. That's it! Enjoy your MacBook:) Please write your feedbacks and screenshots on this topic.
  3. Hi, everyone! I have a quite functional installation of Mountain Lion GM running on a Sager NP9130. However, I've had trouble getting Intel HD 4000 to work on it. I've tried every method I've found on the internet, but none seems to work. Most methods give me KP, but some others take me to a black screen just after booting. I know it has already booted because I can turn volume up and down and hear it changing. I need to get any of my video ports working, either with Intel HD 4000 or NVIDIA GTX 670M. Any help? EDIT: I tried connecting to an external monitor with HDMI and DisplayPort... They are both working, but I can't get it to use my internal laptop screen. Again, any help? EDIT: It seems like my internal display is recognized. I can set a resolution and color profile and the other displays appear as mirrored, but I still haven't managed to use it. It's showing no image at all. Has anyone else gone through this?
