1. Hey. I have a problem with my installation of OSX on my computer. I finally got my memory stick set up to the point where I can start installing, but my hard drive is not detected by the system. I have tried to add some .ktext but it didn't work (not sure if they were working 100% tho) Anyways, all that shows up when I'm supposed to choose where I want to install my OSX is the Flash Drive I'm booting from. I have also tried to add another flash drive in one of the other USB ports, but they didn't show up either. Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth x58 socket 1366 Processor: Intel i7 3.20 GHZ Ram: Corsair Dominator 1600 MHz Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6900-series Hard drive: Western Digital 250GB HDD
2. Hi, has anybody successfuly inject ATI Radeon HD 5650m (68c1:1002) using Clover? (Subsystem of my HP dv6-3080br notebook is 1440) When I choose Graphics Options in Clover during the boot it show my Graphic Card's name OK, but in OSX 10.8.3, the System Information App don't show the card name. System information Screenshot: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/18542301/Screenshots/5650m.png Note: Inject ATI, Load VBios, Patch VBios are enabled. VRAM is set to 1024 and VideoPorts set to 3. CustumEDID configured (because non-DDC LCD Monitor injectEDID is off). FBName is set to Allouata in accord with Configuration. Note: I'm not be able to get my VBIOS rom. In Clover, when I use F6, the file saved contains only the Radeon 4250m(9712:1002) onboard video. With Everest in Windows, the same. In CPUz on Windows, it's say that my Graphic Card don't support extract vbios. Note 2: My BIOS F29 is updated and don't have the option to disabled the primary graphic card. Note 3: The kext ATI5000Controller, ATISupport and ATIAccelerator are loaded. Someone can help me?
3. Hey all, im new to this Hackintosh world and im totally excited about the hackintosh project. So, i wanted to try one for myself. Currently, im a running a Windows 7 64 bit system with the below specs. Intel Core i5 3450 3.1 Ghz Asus P8H77 V-LE Motherboard Asus Geforce GTX 560 1 GB GDDR5 ( non-ti ) Cooler Matser eXtreme Power Plus 600W PSU Western Digital Cavier Green 1TB HDD 2 X 4 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 Ram 1600 MHz I would like to install the Mountain Lion to my PC with the iAtkos ML3 method, to an existing hardrive. i'll be creating a seperate partition for ML, but will installing ML delete my existing Windows 7 OS and the data on other partitions..? for example if im installing ML on " Z drive " the installion process will only affects the " Z Drive " rite..? Also, is the H77 chip compatible for a hackintosh ? If so, do i need to patch the bios ? where can i find a patched bios/dsdt for my Board ? Please help me as soon as possible, because i really want to install Mountain Lion on my PC. Thanks.
4. Hi OSX86 people, Great job you're doing here, have been reading you for months but this is my first post. I hace the ASUS laptop mentioned on my subject, I installed Vanilla OSX ML on it and then to bypass the gray screen and freeze after boot I used -v -f e -x GraphicsEnabler=No PCIRootUID=0 as suggested on many posts, I can get my Wired ethernet to work, audio doesn't wifi doesn't, but I guess using MultiBeats I could get it to work, but I don't know what to choose from the myriad of options available, I see that my grpahics show as HD3000 and nVidia shows but doesn't do anything. I came across this post http://www.osx86.net/view/3232-asus_k53sd_-_10.8.2_kit.html and got the downloads but I don't really know how to install the kexts. Could anyone give this noob a hand I know tjis might've been solved somewhere so any related links will also be highly appreciated. Thanks guys
