  1. I have successfully installed Mountain Lion on my Compaq Presario CQ62-219WM using two different methods. 1. U{censored} 2. myHack U{censored} was the better solution for my initial install, because it gave me full use of my trackpad, keyboard, and ethernet. MyHack did not give me functionality on any of those straight out of the box. However, after installing myHack, I was able to boot into OS X by pressing F8 at the Compaq logo and then selecting my Mac partition (I have Windows 7 installed as well). With U{censored} I'm suppose to install MB{censored} which should make my laptop bootable without having to have my U{censored} drive still plugged in. This has never worked for me. On top of that, when I install from MB{censored} it breaks my ethernet and my keyboard and trackpad. I'm doing a fresh install with U{censored} now. I will not be using MB{censored}. Instead I will be attempting to locate and install the kexts I need manually. I will document the success I have on this thread. The four things I'll need to get working once my U{censored} install is complete are: 1. Figure out how to boot into OS X without my USB U{censored} Drive connected 2. Get audio working (I've done this before using a version of the voodoo kext) 3. Get my D-Link DWA-131 usb wireless adapter to work (supposedly it should work, but no success yet) 4. Get my graphics to work (Intel GMA 4500M reportedly works now with a kext) This is my third hackintosh community I've joined. The other two I received no feedback from anyone in the community. I'm really hoping I finally found a community that works for me. 2. I am unable to boot into the installer for Mountain Lion (10.8). When I boot from USB I get a kernel panic, when I boot with USB from iB{censored} I get an error message about "kext.evOreboot" failed to load or something like that. Does anyone know what to do?

  4. Hello all- I have a new copy of Mountain Lion installed on my build, and everything installed like a charm except for audio, youtube/flash video (freeze after ~5 seconds), and the boot time is around 2 minutes. The install was very easy and I only needed to run the PCIRoodUID=0 to get it going. I don't have a DSDT file for my P6T and all the ones I have found through Google are for Lion or SL. Does anyone have a DSDT that will work for an ASUS P6T (It does not seem to be required, though it might help with my issues)? I have also tried numerous ktexts and Voodoo to try and get audio/flash working and speed up boot, but nothing so far.... Any ideas on that would be helpful as well. My build: ASUS P6T (not delux, premium, SE etc... Just P6T) GTX 285 2GB RAM i7 920 12 gigs OCZ Gold RAM WD Caviar Black drives Thank you!!!
  5. I am trying to install Mountain lion on my dell Inspiron 1545 laptop with 500gb Samsung hdd and 2.3ghz pentium intel processor and 4gb of ram ddr2 I am trying two methods of installation 1 iATKOS ML 2 on a usb and this method i have managed to get to the last line of commands in verbos and i have a spinning color wheel in the top right corner that does respond to my trackpad but this is as far as it goes it simply stays there until i hold the power button down the last line of text is Yukon: Ethernet (i cant remember the rest but as far a i know it is the last line before the welcome screen) 2 the MyHack install method i have successfully made it to the installer on this one and everything is working fine except the fact that it cant read my hdd which i believe is a common problem. If any one has a fix to either of these problems please respond

  7. Hello all, I have a Asus P6T hackintosh going and everything works but the Audio driver. I followed the [sUCCESS] post [sUCCESS] ASUS P6T with AMD RADEON HD 6870 and it worked mysteriously!. I had to reboot to move my desktop and now it does not work. I have made no changes and installed no updates. One reboot and it is dead. 10. Hi, everyone! I have a quite functional installation of Mountain Lion GM running on a Sager NP9130. However, I've had trouble getting Intel HD 4000 to work on it. I've tried every method I've found on the internet, but none seems to work. Most methods give me KP, but some others take me to a black screen just after booting. I know it has already booted because I can turn volume up and down and hear it changing. I need to get any of my video ports working, either with Intel HD 4000 or NVIDIA GTX 670M. Any help? EDIT: I tried connecting to an external monitor with HDMI and DisplayPort... They are both working, but I can't get it to use my internal laptop screen. Again, any help? EDIT: It seems like my internal display is recognized. I can set a resolution and color profile and the other displays appear as mirrored, but I still haven't managed to use it. It's showing no image at all. Has anyone else gone through this?
  11. Hi, I am trying to install ML on my Dell Studio 1535. Initially it was freezing at "DSMOS has arrived". Then I found that it was due to a graphics issue. My laptop has ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450 graphics card. I removed all ATI*.kext from /S/L/E. But still stuck with the "DSMOS has arrived". Then I removed AppleIntelHD.kext, AppleIntelSNB.kext. Now after DSMOS has arrived it says, virtual bool IOHIDEventSystemUserClient::initWithTask(task_t, void *, UInt32): Client task not privileged to open IOHIDSystem for mapping memory (e00002c1) I have tried GraphicsEnabler=No. But no use. You can view a screen capture here http://sdrv.ms/SJolbg Please help!
