I have a PNY branded Geforce 210 graphics card in my dell optiplex 780 hackintosh. It worked perfectly up until recently. I had internet issues and ended up resetting my hackintosh entirely. After the reinstall, I can't boot with the graphics card. I should mention this is mavericks. When I boot with the graphics card in, I get through verbose mode with everything loading and the card is recognized. At this point the screen goes black and loses signal. I've literally tried everything I can find online. [Note I have found a tutorial on this before, as that's how I got it working, but after a week if searching I can't relocate it]
Hello OSx86 Community! Glad to have joined this website, since I have found a lot of information on getting my PC finally Hackintoshed.. After trial and error I managed to install iAtkos L2 successfully on my Dell OptiPlex 745.. but there are a few issues.. First I must always start up with the "-x" command in Chameleon bootloader.. or else it will give me an error "System Uptime in Nanoseconds" (and nanoseconds after it).. but that's not really the worry I have.. From what I understand, the "-x" command starts up Hackintosh in Safe Mode, which means the Video settings are not as right as they should be (don't know how to explain, basically bad resolution).. and I only get one resolution in the system settings.. (1280x1024).. I only have iAtkos L2 on the hard drive, no dual booting or any other Operating System.. I was typing this thread from my laptop with Windows 7 on it.. so I can use Windows apps to fix issues.. but there is a problem - For some reason iAtkos will only mount drives with the HFS format.. but that would mean I cannot mount it in Windows 7.. so I cannot transfer Kexts or any other files/programs ( I can't connect to the internet on iAtkos since I'm on Wifi, and the router is nowhere near my Desktop, and I don't have the Kext for it.. ).. so that's a problem.. it won't mount Fat32, nor NTFS.. it will mount my 8 GB USB with the iAtkos setup because it is formatted as HFS ( I used TransMac to put the .dgm file on the USB stick, and another USB stick with Chameleon bootloader ).. so how can I make it possible to see the contents of an USB drive on both iAtkos and Windows 7? ^^' I know I've written a lot, but here are the main issues I have - "-x" command MUST be used to startup my PC properly.. Does not mount Fat32/NTFS USB drives No Wireless driver Only one video resolution No sound.. Since I would be able to fix driver issues, I would need an USB drive which mounts on both systems, to transfer apps that I download on the laptop, and Kext files.. but I cannot do that .. PC Specs - System = OptiPlex 745 BIOS Version = 2.6.6 Intel DuoCore 6600 @ 2.40GH Bus Speed = 1066 MHz RAM - 2GB I know I don't have enough information.. urgh.. I got them from the BIOS settings.. doesn't show me more than that.. but if you want some specific specs please let me know and I'll try to look further.. So, since I wrote way too much, but it's good to give as much info as possible.. but my main question is.. how do I get my USB drive to mount on both systems.. ? Thanks.
