  1. Hi all, I recently installed 10.12.3 ==> updated to 10.12.6 after I had 10.8.4 for several years. the Installation was from scratch (had to clean the SSD since trying to upgrade from mount lion messed up) Everything works, I suppose, but I get frequent involuntary restarts on behalf of the machine. Can anyone advise me what to check, what to look at, which version is more suitable for me to install in case it is necessary? Thanks a lot for suggestions! the "report" afterwards holds this list: ================================================================status: 0x10005 Code: 0x0 Stackshot reason: WatchdogModel: iMac14,2, BootROM IM142.0122.B00, 4 processors, Intel Core i7, 3.43 GHz, 16 GB, SMC 2.15f7Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650, PCIe, 2047 MBMemory Module: BANK 0/DIMM1, 8 GB, DDR3, 1600 MHz, Kingston, 99U5471-037.A00LFMemory Module: BANK 1/DIMM1, 8 GB, DDR3, 1600 MHz, Kingston, 99U5471-037.A00LFNetwork Service: RTL8192S WLAN Adapter, Ethernet, en1Serial ATA Device: SanDisk SDSSDHP128G, 128.04 GBSerial ATA Device: ST2000DM001-1ER164, 2 TBSerial ATA Device: ATAPI iHAS124 CUSB Device: USB 2.0 BusUSB Device: HubUSB Device: USB Optical MouseUSB Device: USB KeyboardUSB Device: USB 2.0 BusUSB Device: HubUSB Device: RTL8192S WLAN AdapterThunderbolt Bus:

This is for those who have Chameleon boot loader and haswell kernel and wants to update (2015_003 Security Update). MD5 (Vanilla kernel) = d15c234bcc3421705788f07d9f811f15 MD5 (10.10.2 with 2015_003 update kernel haswell patched) = add7fdfc4d061f237bd84f1eb94713b4 MD5 (10.10.2 kernel haswell patched) = cc46457172315aea68d8e1f957d2746c You just have to boot U{censored} and copy the kernel in /System/Library/Kernels/kernel.
  3. My system is not capable of booting after installing 10.9.2. I have documented my successful installation process for updating up to 10.9.1?here. Once I attempt to boot into 10.9.2, it automatically reboots, no kernel panic nor indication of the cause. I'm also using the latest FakeSMC v6.0.1364.?So far, all of my remedies I have done haven't worked.? ? First, using the USB installer, I replaced the vanilla mach_kernel with the patched version in Terminal using the following code and rebooted:? cp /mach_kernel "/Volumes/NameOfOSXDisk/mach_kernel" Next I removed all of the native graphic kexts restored after 10.9.2 and transfered them into another folder in Terminal using the following code and rebooted -f: diskutil list diskutil mount /dev/diskXsY mkdir /Volumes/ NameOfOSXDisk /backup cd /Volumes/NameOfOSXDisk/System/Library/Extensions mv AppleIntelHD* AppleIntelSNB* AMDRadeon* ATI* GeForce* NVDA* "/Volumes/NameOfOSXDisk/backup" Next I placed the NullCPUPowerManagement.kext back into E/E and rebooted -f: fsck -fy mount -uw / cd System/Library/Extensions mv /NullCPUPowerManagement.kext "/Volumes/NameOfOSXDisk/Extra/Extensions" Next I replaced the AICPM kext with a patched version on an additional USB stick in Terminal using the following code and rebooted -f: cd /Volumes ls cd NAMEOFOSXDISK cd System/Library/Extensions ls rm -rf /Volumes/NAMEOFOSXDISK/System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext cp -R /Volumes/USBSTICK/AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext /Volumes/NAMEOFOSXDISK/System/Library/Extensions exit ? Next I replaced the AppleRTC.kext with a patched version on an additional USB stick in Terminal using the following code and rebooted -f: cd /Volumes ls cd NAMEOFOSXDISK cd System/Library/Extensions ls rm -rf /Volumes/NAMEOFOSXDISK/System/Library/Extensions/AppleRTC.kext cp -R /Volumes/USBSTICK/AppleRTC.kext /Volumes/NAMEOFOSXDISK/System/Library/Extensions exit After attempting all of these remedies at no avail, I was forced to revert back to 10.9.1. I can not seem to successfully boot into 10.9.2 for the life of me. Am I missing anything? If anybody has this similar problem on a Haswell system and has figured out a fix to it, I would gladly appreciate you letting me know. Thanks ?

  5. Hi, I'm having a problem where after loading the kexts, the system just reboots. Like, it just reboots. Without any errors, just a reboot. ? I've tried it with several different kernels and even using retail with?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C27hb_IbLPk?with the same result. I've even tried loading iATKOS L2 with a patched AMD kernel and using N{censored}'s 10.7.3 V2 with a LOT of bootflags. ? EDIT: I remember that N{censored} 10.8.2 works, but I'd prefer having QE/CI. ? Any suggestions? ? Specs: 2GB DDR2 RAM AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5200+ 2.71GHz NVIDIA GeForce 9500GT

Qualcuno puo' aiutarmi? Grazie
  8. I have seen other people on here with the same issue, but none of their solutions work for me. System specs: ASUS M4A89TD Pro USB3 Phenom X6 1055t 8 GB Ram GeForce 9800GT and all that other stuff... So has anyone had any success with this motherboard? I found a dsdt file on here, so I figured it would work. I have the U{censored} drive, and my motherboard is in AHCI mode, but when I select to boot in the U{censored} menu, it has a black screen for a few seconds, then it reboots. And it keeps doing it. I have tried all of the flags, I have removed one stick of ram, so that it is 4GB (I read that this worked for one person), I installed Chimera 1.11.1, I added the dsdt.aml file I downloaded from here that is for my motherboard to the Extras folder. I have read that many people with this problem have had success with setting "Limit CUPID value" to disable in the BIOS, but I don't think this is an option on this motherboard, or at least I can't find it. I have messed with a lot of the BIOS settings to see if anything works, but nothing. Anybody use this motherboard or know what I can do??? Thanks
  9. Hello, I've got a laptop Compaq Presario CQ57 with an AMD E-300 (Dual core @ 1.3 Ghz), 2Go RAM, and Radeon graphics. When I try to start installation (Snow Leopard from Hazard) it load kernel then it reboot. I try to start it from a VHD file (because it works in VirtualBox) and it show less than one second the Apple white logo and it reboot without error message ... Can you help me please ? Ps: I don't find a compatible kernel
  10. Hello, everyone....well I gave up on Lion for the moment and would be quite happy with Snow Leopard on my Toshiba A665-S6050. This laptop has Core I3 350M processor, 4 GB ram, 750 GB Seagate Momentum HD. I have installed Snow Leopard using Nawcom's boot CD. Install went fine, except I had to dd boot1h to the HD. When I try to boot from the hard drive with the legacy kernel, it locks up at, "warning: kernel was not built with custom dyld blob". When I try to boot with the vanilla kernel, it reboots. I can boot with the boot CD into Snow Leopard partition without a problem. Do I need a different kernel or am I missing something else? Thanks in advance for the help, J
  11. Hi! I have DVD and USB with link removed When I'm doing all that is written in instructions, it needs to restart the computer... I don't understand what I need to do... "-v" does not help me...
  12. So after installing Lion on my new Hackintosh using {censored}'s U{censored} it works perfectly for awhile. Graphics and sound is all good. I also installed MB{censored} for Lion after without a problem. But after about 20 minutes, or up to 30 minutes. I get the error "You must restart your computer" the screen slowly fades to grey etc. Any idea what's going on? CPU: i7-2600 GPU: Nvidia GT 530 1GB HDD: 1TB Caviar Green RAM: 12GB DDR3 1333 MOBO: ASUS P8H67-M Installed flawlessly and boots up with the bootloader without a problem. The only issue I have, is it doing this after a small amount of time? I can feel that I am almost there! After installing, then downloading the 10.7.4 Combo Update from Apple and then installing the Combo update I run MB{censored} (before rebooting after the Combo Update) And take these options in MB{censored}: Easybeast Install Drivers & Bootloaders > Kexts & Enablers > Network > Realtek Gigabit Ethernet Drivers & Bootloaders > Kexts & Enablers > Audio > Realtek ALC8xx > ALC8xxHDA Drivers & Bootloaders > Kexts & Enablers > Audio > Realtek ALC8xx > AppleHDA Rollback Miscellaneous > FakeSMC Miscellaneous > FakeSMC Plugins > Motherboard Plugins Miscellaneous > FakeSMC Plugins > Nvidia Plugin Miscellaneous > FakeSMC Plugins > HWMonitor Application Miscellaneous > Patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext That's all I installed. Did I miss anything exactly? It's so hard to understand MB{censored}. Do I need other kexts for my CPU or Mobo or do I need any DSDTs or anything? EDIT: This only seems to be really happening when I am torrenting something, using either uTorrent or Transmission. So it seems to be something to do with the hard drive... I have no idea what is going on... Any ideas?
  13. Hello everyone. I've successfully installed OS X 10.6.3 on my system, using the "OS X 10.6 on AMD" guide on this forum. I followed the guide to the letter except for installing the chameleon boot-loader, I choose the "chameleon wizard 4.0.1" from the download section instead. My problem is, without the Nawcom ModCD. The system will not start. If i try booting "normal" it shows me the apple logo and nothing more happens. If i try -v, -f, -F, -x, or -s then the screen goes black and nothing more. Although, using the Nawcom ModCD 0.3.2 the system starts without a problem. I have also tried the boot-loader used in the guide with the same results. And I have tried applying the EvOreboot.kext with Kext Wizard. No luck. I have not updated OS X since install. Still on 10.6.3. Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair IV Formula, AM3, AMD890FX+, DDR3 Processor: 3,2Ghz, AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition RAM: 4Gb (2+2), Crucial DDR3 BallistiX, 1333Mhz Graphics: PowerColor Radeon HD 6850, 1GB GDDR5 I would really appreciate some help. Thanks!
