  2. Does anybody know if it possible to get work?C602 chipset 4-Port SATA Storage Control Unit (8086:1D6B)?Device on Yosemite? AHCI_3rdParty_SATA.kext (AHCI Device Injection) didn't work.
  3. Hi. ? I've got a problem with my hack (without dsdt) booting via clover. ? SSD has a GUID partition table. ? HFSPlus, HFSPlusUEFI drivers were installed on a OS X partition. ? So I can boot the System only when my SSD connected via USB )) I see a menu of drives (os x, recovery etc.) ? When I switch my SSD via SATA (AHCI) I see a gray screen with common information 'bout system and no bootable disks like this ? 57627385478929559744.jpg ? (sorry for quality, I've found this screenshot using' google)))) ? So what can I do more to solve this problem?
  4. Hi everyone ! ? I've just installed 10.9 (now updated to 10.9.2 but it didn't changed anything) on my AMD Athlon 64 x2 2.0 Ghz 2 GB DDR2 RAM (using a distro ;-). I have 2 SATA drives, one of 80 GB for OS X and another one of 500 GB for Windows 8.1 / Data / Time Machine. Everythings works fine but for an unknown reason, sometimes the second 500 GB drive suddendly disappear from my desktop saying Ejecting Error, try to disconnect the drive by…etc, just as if it was an USB external drive. ? System Profiler detects it as a SATA drive, the icons aren't yellow, there's just like any normal drive and most of time, I can read/write on them without problems. I did a Time Machine backup without issues. ? First I thought that it was a Kext conflict between SuperVIAATA.kext and IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector.kext or AHCI_3rdPartySata.kext but I tried to remove the two last of them and be able to boot fine (Removing SuperVIAATA.kext result as "still waiting for root device"). But the problem persist and I can't figure why ! ? The drive works fine on Windows and shows no errors, SMART state is reported as capable and OK and the 80 GB hosting OS X works fine as well. ? My desktop is a HP dc5750 with the latest BIOS (configure in Native IDE mode - no AHCI available) and beside this very anoying problem under OS X, it works fine. ? If it can help, The SATA drive which disappears is a Seagate ST500DM002-1BD142. Another strange thing is that the Seagate disappears but the SATA drive (Western Digital WDC WD800JD-75MSA3)? where OS X is installed remains… for a few minutes until it shows KP due to IOATAFamily IOBlockStorage. ? Any ideas ?
  5. My problem is this. I have a supported Mobo, (Eclipse SLI X58) but on accessing the installer, I see absolutely none of my hard drives. I used the MBR patch, but from past experience it's nothing to do with that, as in order to tell me to use the GUID partition scheme, OS X has to acknowledge my Drives' existences first. Why is this happening?
  6. Version 1.0.4

This is the 1.0.4 applenforceATA kext v 1.0.4 created by AnV. it includes the 64bit fix by imk. Go here for the official thread. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=211866 I can also personally confirm that this infact, does work with Lion, AND tested on ML in both 32 and 64 bit modes, Update: This should also work in 10.9 mavericks in 64Bit.
  7. Hi everyone, I have a gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H motherboard and it only has 4 SATA ports. I would like to add some more, and I have a Rosewill RC-216 RAID card with 2 internal and 2 external SATA ports. It is recognized by the BIOS along with drives I connect to it, but they don't show up in OSX. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to make this card work, or another card that I could buy that would be compatible? It was recommended to use MB{censored} to install the 3rd Party SATA driver, which I did to no avail. However, when looking in the system profiler/system report, the card actually does show up as JMicron JMB363 AHCI now, with a 3 GB/s speed. Just no drives showing up in OSX. Here's a pic of the SATA section of system report: Thanks a lot
  8. Hello, I've been using a Macbook Pro the last 2 years and I really love the OS. So I decided to give hackintosh a try. Now I'm trying to install it on my Desktop computer using this guide but it doesn't show the harddrives? I've searched a bit around and I've found that I should change "Sata control" setting in the BIOS to AHCI. But I can't find that option and I've really searched all the menus in the BIOS. I also found that I should change "HPET Mode" to 64-bit but I can only enable/disable that in my BIOS. Is there anyone who can help me out a bit? The harddrives are just not visible when I try to install ML.
  9. Hi all, I' trying to get my Digitus 30104 4-Port SATA II PCI-E card running under Lion 10.7.2 First of all, here's some info on the card: http://www.digitus.info/en/products/access...-port-ds-30104/ It uses a Marvell 88SX7042 chip. There is no OSX support. The card appears to be identical to these cards according to specs and images: Rosewill RC-218 Rosewill.com - Networking, HDD Controllers, SATA 3G HDD Controller, RC-218 Startech PEXSATA24E http://eu.startech.com/Cards-Adapters/HDD-...PCIe~PEXSATA24E I found two drivers for OSX that come with cards that use the same chip: sonnet tempo sata e4i Sonnet - Tempo E4i: 4-Port Serial ATA PCI Express Card; Compatible In Power Mac G5 & Windows Desktop Computers With PCI Express Slots This card looks very similar (but misses the 2 eSATA ports and the jumpers to activate them). Furthermore, some review on Newegg mentions, that a Rosewill RC-218 (see above) is detected in Windows 7 as this card. HighPoint RocketRaid HighPoint Technologies, Inc -Mac Support They have some cards of the 23xx series, which use a 88SX7042 and have native support in Lion (HighPointRR.kext). However, none of them looks similar. I followed this guide on kext editing: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...t_Patching_List I figured out the PNPID is 0x704211AB First attempt: Modifying HighPointRR.kext See attachment for resulting kext. With the PNPID, the card is detected. Unfortunately, connected SATA hard drives are not detected. I didn't find any errors in the system log files. Second attempt: Modifying SonnetSATA.kext I extracted the SonnetSATA.kext from the driver packet that came from the official website. http://www.sonnettech.com/support/kb/kb.ph...amp;action=b384 Apart from injecting the PNPID, I removed the secondary device match stuff from the info.plist. See attachment for resulting kext. This version detects the card and connected hard drives. The log says: kernel: SonnetSATA::init 2.2.6, © 2004-2010 Sonnet Technologies, Inc. kernel: SonnetSATA::detectDeviceType@0: Marvell 88SX7042 detected Disk Drive ST2000DL003-9VT166 CC32 6YD0GV3L However, the problem is that the drives appear as "not initialized". (I tested with a drive GUID and a single HFS+ partition with data and a drive with GUID and a single NTFS partition, which worked fine under Windows 7) When I use DiskUtil, to initialize and partition the drive (GUID and single HFS+ partition), it gets stuck at "waiting for volumes to be displayed" (or similar - it's a rough translation from the German UI) No errors are reported. I also verified that the card is working fine under Windows 7 with the current driver provided by SonnetTech. So where's the problem in Lion? I also tried earlier driver version (2.2.1 is the 1st that supports Lion) but all with the same result. At this point I a stuck. I got the feeling, I am really close. It's probably only some minor tweak of the settings - but I have no idea where and what to change. Any suggestions are welcome. Perhaps some of you owns one of these cards and could try him/herself. cheers, xiv P.S. Attachments did't work. You can download the files here: Dropbox - kext - Simplify your life
  10. New box is running relatively smoothly, but I'd like a few more internal sata ports to add some more internal HDs. The 6x3Gbs ports on the motherboard are working, but the 2x6Gbs aren't. Any thoughts on how to enable these, or if that can't happen any recommendations for a "supported" PCI sata card, (or even the correct chipset)?
