mac os x installed but will not boot from disk or chamlin

Question

I installed mac os x 10.6.3 on my computer using OSX86 Mod CD and when i boot from the mod cd -force64 or not, what happens is allot of text scrolls really fast down the screen.

my specs are:

motherbord: MSI 890GXM-G65

CPU: AMD 6-core phenom II 3.2Gz

RAM: 8Gb Kingston

Video: onbord

Sound: onbord

the options i chose in the install are as follows:

nearby and popular printers

x11

legacy kernel

apple ps2

appleATIATA

jMicronATA

VoodooHDA

both wired and wireless support

if i boot ignore caches then it will boot into the os, but only from the mod cd not chamlin

bootflag

-s arch=i386 maxmem=4096

then when prompt

mount -uw / >press enter

rm -R /System/Library/Extensions/VoodooHDA.kext >press enter

rm -R /System/Library/Extensions/AppleTyMCEDriver.kext >press enter

exit >press enter

(don't forget the spaces and its case sensitive and don't enter > Symbols )

if you have dual boot just navigate and delete files manually

AppleTyMCEDriver.kext will do that its for intel dual processors .

i used the boot flags you recommend and this happens:

then after a min message: "Still waiting for root device" over and over

well i was able to boot safe from the modcd and deleted the files now the os doesnt show up on the boot screen of the cd and chamillon boot ended in kernal panic "unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\".\n"@/Users/nawcom/Builds/xnu-1504.9.37/iokit/Kernel/IOPlatformExpert.cpp:1393

i noticed that your fakesmc.kext is not loading its essential

try these flags and steps above

-f -s maxmem=4096 arch=i386

-f will force load all kexts

and set your bios to 64bit hpet enabled if possible

if you already deleted kexts great make sure you repair permission
