As it stands it seems that 10.8.3 doesn't like the HDD recognition kext's. However that just means more searching. Currently I am studying for exams (have one on monday, paper due friday, and three exams next week). Once those are done I can give this more attention.

However, I will be trying again (with 10.8.0) probably tomorrow assuming I have my lab's done.

Let me know if anything changes,

AJ

Will do man. Good luck. I have a few finals and some 3d rendering to do.

I think 10.8.2 works fyi, since that's what I'm on I believe. I can double check.

Ok, so an update. Got the hdd detected and was able to install to an external drive (will ghost to internal once everything's up and running).

Once this is done I will get the DSDT and apply that to the system (along with the lapci kernel) to see just what it fixes (should be a lot).

Additionally, Once everything is stable I will ghost it to the external HDD and try to update to 10.8.3 (and replace the kernel) and see what breaks/changes.

I'll post an update once I'm done with that.
