Mac App Store not working..... "An unkown error has occured" Mac OS X 10.6.8

Question

Hello all,

I have been getting an error with my mac app store.

Everything else works eg. FaceTime and iTunes store.

But just not the App Store, I have tried using Pacifist to redo the App Store I have also re downloaded the 10.6.8 combo update, checked my UTC timing in the BIOS... But nothing.... I type in my Apple ID credentials correct....

"An unkown error has occured" is the error I'm getting...

Thanks for your help! :D

Check out page 3 of my guide and scroll to the bottom for directions on how to fix the Mac App Store. The Ethernet adapters mentioned are only for my PC model, but any network interfaces you had before step 3 should be added back after all steps are completed. Hope it helps! :encouragement:
