Diamond Radeon HD 5450 512Mb

Question

I'm using mac os x 10.9 (Mavericks) and i install the Kexts i found here for my card and now when i click about this mac,More info

and where it says Graphics it shows: ATI Radeon HD 5000 512 MB

did i install the kexts correct? i use KextUtility for mavericks.is it ok that my graphic shows at 5000 and not as 5450?

PLEASE HELP!!!!

no i haven't added that to the Charmeleon boot plist file .if i do add it will my two monitors still work? cause i have dual monitors setup.and thank you

ok i added GraphicsEnabler=Yes .and now it shows 5470 and also my second monitors don't work i think is the vga port.but the dvi works

and when i don't use?GraphicsEnabler=Yes both monitors works just fine.by any chance do u know whats goin on?

The fact that the info says "ATI Radeon HD 5000 512 MB" does not mean that the card is malfunctioning. It's just cosmetic.

If you boot with GraphicsEnabler=Yes, it will shows HD 5470.

If you boot with GraphicsEnabler=No (default), it shows HD 5000.

The most important thing is the framebuffer > Eulemur

?

If you have a translucent menu bar it tells you've got QE/CI.

ok Thank You Rene for the explanation.and yes i got QE/CI with both Monitors so i guess il just leave like that even if it shows
