Hi,
after have used paragon hfs on windows I get this error Incorrect number of thread record,
but I solved it with fsck_hfs -y -Rc -d because fsck -fy didn't work.
But now my laptop become hot,
cpu is 50° (normally 40°),
and hdd 42° (normally 35° average).
How can I solved it, please ?

Hi,

?

Which OS does the temp rise? ?Both? ?If on OS X, check Activity Monitor to see if there are any program(s) using the CPU/writing to the disk...

I suspect mdworker to be a culprit...

The problem is just present in maverick.

There are lots of mdworker.

One of these is:

mdworker write=32 ko read=12 Mo

Is it normal ?

Go to System Preferences > Spotlight and under the Privacy tab, add your Windows partition.

Let us know how it goes! :eagerness:
