Question

inside of the prefpane of EFI-X that really is an advanced USB stick with an arm cortex a3 on it I found
the following script:

#!/bin/sh?# ?Copyright 2012 ASEM Co., LTD. All rights reserved.?# Helper script for send user logs to ASEM# $1 - temp directory# $2 - name of temp zip file?TMPD=$1/ASEMLogs?# make included temporary directorymkdir -p $TMPD?# create ioreg filesioreg -lw0 > $TMPD/ioreg.txtioreg -lw0 -p IODeviceTree > $TMPD/iodevtree.txt?# copy main logs filescp /var/log/system.log?$TMPDcp /var/log/kernel.log?$TMPD?# copy crash logs filescp -RL ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter $TMPDcp -RL /Library/Logs/CrashReporter $TMPD?# zip to archivezip -9 -qrj $1/$2 $TMPD?# remove temporary filesrm -r $TMPD

As you may see, users have had their logs zipped - kernel and system log, all user actions of machine have been sent to wilhelm von vnukov - and that could very well have had sensitive information and is/was stored on his site.
?
The value of his USB stick after having setting up the unit is few bucks a piece, and the price was over 200 us dollars, and some had storage to rid of, there it cost about 99 dollars.
?
What he did was follow the EFI research of insanely and plist edits of users that succeeded - and after retrieving successful techniques from here, he and his 3 companions from russia started deleting information, and that was over 50 of the biggest pieces, and they also did engage in projects removing small code bits and informations for EFI-X to be succeeding more. EFI-X is also a rip off of chameleon as wilhelms own methods were not successful in fast booting. He also ripped of rEFIt.
?
What was this fake efi? it was based upon open source BSD code with a piece for running EFI version of linux that came with an archive he found on net. He then claimed this his own as well. Most of his code came from omni, iNDi , and this involved in the same projects and buildsmart and boors and them, and osdevers - os dev zone forums. it was simply cut and paste + small changes. and his prefpane was modding something that he found the source for on net via insanely talk.
?
So what was this stick really?
--------------------------------------
it was a collection of strings downloaded from a server and pathnames, plist mods - and it all came from users here and in other forums, and he + companions deleted this.
?
Also, a big up within power management and making that work was using paulicats work, and deleting this off the net as people stopped using boot132 more and more. he stole from there some strings and plist edits.
More came from that open source BSD piece for non-efi users running efi os - there they put in some values that were zeros, and they needed to be in correct offsets in memory.
?
?
I have also attached his prefpane. I did some studies of his EFI-X
?
He used shell commands for getting plist edits into place by cp and some smart shell expressions for modding portions of files after grep to find location + find.?
?
his updates was using curl from his site.
?
?
?
All, in all, we did all - he did nothing but copy and paste from various forums and some small modding.
?
?
another company made the application for turning on and off the usb flash memory off the advanced usb stick,
that had content made by forum users - insanely/hackint0sh/others and osdevers and code project etc.
?
?

here is a link: what the f**k is it with this person? is he trying to be david bowie??

?
?

?
attached is his prefpane to disassemble - this was always available on net without payment.

Amazing find! Well, not that amazing, because everybody suspected this, but never thought log files were send to ASEM. He was threatening us (the community) with lawsuits because we talked bad about ASEM. The community should sue him now for copyright infringement and privacy infringement!

It was a bad way from Asem, obsiously Then made all that the people thought.

ASEM's idea was a great Job, only the idea no the way to made it. If any company could continue with it... I don't have any problem to pay for it.

I have one efix... V4.0
