Some of you may recall the MacII, which was among the best computers ever, in my opinion.

I was a proud owner of a used one from 1992 on.

At this time, one of the few tiles I bought was Shanghai_II Dragons Eye.

A few other games could be found as shareware/freeware.

With the MiniVMacII emulator all those games play with sound and in color on todays smartphones.

(Sound is not perfect as the MacII´s ASC emulation is still incomplete)

I have to admit, I still like to play Shanghai_II for passing some time when waiting or on the train.

Its pretty hard to win and not all tile layouts are solvable.

Taking away tiles is partially animated and sound is played, quite nice for a game from 1992.

The game file is here:?http://macintoshgarden.org/games/shanghai-2-dragons-eye

The needed Mac II ROM:?http://www.mediafire.com/download/q85hzy7yq9hvt4f/ROM.zip

The emulator is free for most PCs:?http://virtuallyfun.superglobalmegacorp.com/?p=236

And available for a small fee from GooglePlay:?https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=name.osher.gil.minivmac.ii&hl=de

The needed MacOS6 or seven can be found on the net, if you have issues sourcing one, feel free to ask.

There also is a MiniVMac iOS port, but don´t ask me. :)
