Question

Hi. I have had sound issues since day 1 with yosemite.

?

Symptoms:?

?

  • Sound shuts off randomly all the time. At least once or more an hour. Usually more often when I am transferring files around or switching between applications.
  • I am forced to put the hackintosh to sleep and wake it. then sound returns.
  • I can also?sometimes?bring the sound back by plugging in a headphone jack and ejecting the jack quickly.
  • Sound? ALWAYS ?shuts off when I transfer a file from my desktop to my documents or in a finder window.
  • I can hear a "ticking" noise when the sound shuts off. It sounds like my audio kext is being loaded again.

?

Information:

?
