El Capitan and my Sony

Question

Hello!

?

Thanks for this wonderfull Community.

?

I have a Sony Vaio VGN FW31ZJ with this hardware :

?

Intel Core 2 Duo T9550

4 GB Ram DDR2

Chipset Intel PM45

Ati Radeon 3650 512Mb

SSD 120 Gb Crucial

?

and I would like to install El Capitan on it.

?

Clover works fine, but I had problem with image installation. I try 2 different iso but have the same result : on screen appears a "prohibition sign" and after 10 second goes to sleep mode...

?

Someone can help me to choose which Distro is better for my laptop?

?

Thanks

Try different kernel's?

Check disk Health and SMART status?

Change in bios disk mode from IDE to AHCI if you have that option?

?

Try installing OS X Yosemite first but i don't think that you can enable GPU... idk. you should try?

Radeon 3XXX GPUs have been reported working with Leopard 10.5. There is no way to have a working hack with any recent OS X, I´m afraid.

Insanely has the story of a long struggle:?http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/149872-ati-moblity-radeon-hd-3650-on-ideneb-13/page-1

?

Personally, I would consider a GNU/Linux alternative for laptops unsupported in OS X like:?http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/elementary-os-luna/
