Great you made it that far, congratulations!

All of the ATI HD 4XXX chipsets where last supported with 10.5 Leopard.

I would not hope for any updates for these graphics chips.

Sorry.

So EVGA GT730 supported on el capitan ?

My hd 4830 still has support with all latest os x version (qe_ci exotic patch)  :)

If you take a look on the screenshot, his graphics card is already recognized - yes, as a hd 4600 (cosmetic part) but with 512MB (even w/o qe_ci enabled) which is meaning that his device-id (0x954F1002) is already present in ATIRadeonX2000.kext (ci part).

All what he has to do is to add his device-id in AMD4600Controller.kext (qe part), repair permissions + rebuild the cache.

Don't forget to boot with kext-dev-mode=1 flag before patching the kexts.   ;)

Good luck

I am facing the same issue with my ati radeon hd 4350.

Please help how do we edit amd 4600 controller. Please explain in detail as I am no obligation to hackintosh.
