WiFi AR5B97/AR9287 "No hardware installed" Acer Aspire 4738Z

Question

Edit: Now WiFi working using Native IO80211Familly.kext. I add (copy and paste) PlugIns kext from other PlugIns kext

Hai, I'm new here

So I have N{censored} OSx 10.8.5 installed on my Laptop Acer Aspire 4738z with 2.0GHz Intel Pentium. For network, it had BCM557780 Gigabit Ethernet and Atheros AR9287 (AR5B97 on Windows).

I two got kext downloaded (forgot where excatly from), IO80211Family.kext and IONetworkingFamily.kext. Installed use Kext Wizard, Rebuild System Kext Caches and reboot.

On System Information-Hardware-Ethernet Cards it's look like OSX detect myEtherner Card. Even in PCI Card to, it show drive installed Yes.

The problem is my WiFi is installed (on PCI Card information) but when clicked "Wi-Fi: No hardware installed".

On DPCIManager-Model show information about Wireless Network Adapter (802.11 a/b/g/n), PCI List show correct Vendor and Device ID.

This is info.plist from WiFi kext

Can someone guide me to fix this.

I would go for DSDT patch for better output but you can use kext or injector kext on it.

What version of kext you are using? is it supported on your version ?

just try this
