[GUIDE] Use more than 4gb RAM on AMD with 32 and 64 bit apps working

Recommended Posts

Have you tried to boot with -f -v flags? Also you can use Kext Utility. You could be missing a kext. Try kextstat on a terminal and find out what kexts are loading to try to determine which one(s) you have missing.

Hi there. This might be an illegal bump but I have the same problem on my Hackintosh 10.7.3 running on an AMD FX-8150 with HD4870 and 8GB RAM. But my 32bit apps never works. Even when I boot the system with maxmem=4090.. Does anyone have this patch but for 10.7.3? I would be grateful since this is the last thing for me before I have a fully working AMD Hackintosh.
